I have been practicing bodywork since 2006. From a very young age I was intrigued by the mind-body connection.
I have followed that source of fascination to a wonderful life that includes my loving wife Ally and two sons, Ever and Jaime and my two dogs Arlo and Kenzie. RIP Ruca

My free time is spent mostly with my family, enjoying all that Oregon has to offer: hiking, surfing, snowshoeing, biking, fishing..
I believe we each have an innate wisdom to feel and heal from wounds, whether they be externally or internally generated.
I want people to feel somatically freed
in the deepest way.

Awareness Oriented Structural Integration Certificate
I have completed a 7 part certification program for Visionary CranioSacral Work (VCSW) with Hugh Milne at the Milne Institute. Without this addition to my hands-on skills I feel I would be doing a disservice to those individuals who need a slower, deeper sort of work. Incorporating advanced listening skills and Osteopathic approaches to my sessions always brings benefit to my clients.
In Hawaii, I worked as an assistant teacher to Lee Joseph at the Pacific Center for Awareness and Bodywork for three years before moving into a lead teacher role in the Structural Integration program at the school. I also ran the school clinic at PCAB, helping students to refine their hands-on application of Awareness Oriented Structural Integration and develop into accomplished therapists. In 2008, I studied at the Dr. Ida Rolf Institute (formerly the Rolf Institute), continuing to gain clarity and insight into what is a most profound modality. The Rolf method differs somewhat from my personal practice as it primarily focuses on the somatic experience. Over the years I have noticed no separation of the mind from the body. They are one and the same, so why ignore part of a whole. Since moving to the Eugene-Springfield area, I have been instructing massage therapy at Lane Community College (since 2013), teaching students an introduction into Myofascial Release techniques based on A.O.S.I..
Since moving to Oregon in 2012, I have worked at an outpatient orthopedic physical therapy clinic. For years I have worked alongside physical therapists in patients rehabilitation from a variety of surgeries, injuries, motor vehicle accidents, and other such ailments. This breadth of knowledge that has come from collaboration with PTs, MDs, Physiatrists, NDs, PAs, NPs, and Chiropractors has given me a confidence not found in books. To have worked with so many patients willing to own their healing journey and clinicians willing to share their insights has had profound affects on my work. Experience is the best teacher.
