Student Clinic

Each student is required to participate in the Student Clinic at the Utah College of Massage Therapy. Through this clinic, each student is able to interact with a variety of clients that come in to receive bodywork from the learning students. This training allowed me to get a feel for performing bodywork with the protection of instructor oversight, but largely allowed me to cater to my clients needs and wishes.

Friday Student Clinic

Alongside the standard Student Clinic at the Utah College of Massage Therapy, some students are given the opportunity to perform their practice and massages on Fridays. This opportunity is more unique than the standard Student Clinic as one needs to interview to be able to practice on Fridays. On top of the interview, the clients have higher expectations of what they will be receiving in their bodywork and tend to know more of what they are looking for in a therapist.
