After several years of working as a Certified General Real Estate Appraiser with Siebold Group Consulting, LLC, Karin chose to return to the health care field. In 2009 she began the first of many courses in CranioSacral Therapy, through the Upledger Institute. In 2011 she graduated from the College of Wilmington and obtained a North Carolina Massage and Bodywork License, and in 2013 she completed the Certification requirements in CranioSacral Therapy through the Upledger Institute. In April 2016 she completed requirements for the Diplomate Certification through the Upledger Institute, the highest level of certification available.

She has completed classes in the Visceral Manipulation curriculum through the Barral Institute, and classes in the Lymphatic Drainage Therapy curriculum through the Chikly Institue. She continues to study and practice Touch of Health Kinesiology, Myokinesthetics (a soft tissue treatment geared to impact the nervous system) and the Masterson method of horse massage.

Currently Karin has a private practice at the Healing Arts Center located in Southport, NC, and she spends a few days each month on Bald Head Island at the Island Retreat Spa. She provides a variety of services including CranioSacral Therapy, Lymphatic Drainage, Visceral Manipulation, Therapeutic Massage, Touch of Health Kinesiology and Myokinesthetic Therapy. She travels to provide services to Equine clients and College and Professional Athletes.
