Tami Crump is a native of North Carolina and grew up near the Uwharrie Mountains.
Her love for family and friends intuitively led her to a path of assisting them in their healing process. Her passion to teach and help people catapulted her interest in the human body and what was going on underneath the skin. Her love of life and having a sincere interest in the well-being of others lead her to an "A-ha" moment! A realization that she can help with the proper education.
Tami made significant positive changes in her life and this brought her to discovering the Body Therapy Institute (BTI). The values and foundation of ground, center, and breath are a key component to her massage practice. The Embodied Touch* and Somatic Psychology classes offered only at BTI developed her character and her ability to be present and hold unconditional positive regard (UPR) for all the clients she works with.
Tami specializes in Myofascial Release, Swedish Massage & Integrated Bodywork with 'WholeTones' music therapy, Foot Reflexology, compassion and intuitive therapy. Her presence and mindfulness during your sessions brings you to the awareness of your innate power of healing. Tami works together with her clients to come up with a customized bodywork session that suits her clients' needs for that day, because we never show up the same way, and neither should your massage.
