I have been in massage practice since 2004 and have since had many opportunities to learn the varied nuances of applying massage to a diverse population with differing and unique needs.

What fascinates me most about this work is how something so seemly simple as touch combined with movement can be effective in relieving many cases of muscular pain, anxiety, and stress.

The clients I serve come from all walks of life and they tend to have roughly the same aches, pains, and stresses in common such as chronic muscular tension, joint stiffness, repetitive strain syndromes, and poor body posturing which has become much more common as a result of 21st century information/digital age technology.

Just to be clear, I don’t think that the technology itself is bad. There are trade offs with most things in life. I do think however that we need to develop an in-depth awareness and understanding of these issues, how they can affect our health, and focus on practical interventions and prevention strategies.

My aim is to provide value to my clients through the use of massage and bodywork therapy as a conservative treatment option and prevention strategy for relieving muscle and joint pain from repetitive work related activities and countering the effects of stress and anxiety. In do so, I believe that the best approach for achieving these goals is by creating massage and bodywork therapy treatment plans tailored to each clients’ unique body and circumstances.

Specifically, this involves using the most effective massage treatment protocols, stretching techniques, education, and practical take-home prevention strategies to help each client get the relief they seek and maintain their wellness.

Mitchell's professionalism is evident not only in the care he gives, but in his effort to make you understand the root nature of the symptom. A walking Grey's Anatomy.

Mitchell did a very thorough and thoughtful analysis on the different areas of my body that were causing pain before actually massaging those areas. I appreciated the attention to detail, and the focused effort to relieve discomfort in the areas I had mentioned. He’s extremely well researched and I would highly recommend him.
