Nora Grand-Pre

The part can never be well unless the whole is well. - Plato

My first experiences with massage therapy was in my childhood after some really major injuries. The doctors said I would not walk, and if by some small chance I did manage to walk, I'd be walking with a cane for the rest of my life. I haven't used a cane since the early '90's. I first completed college for art, then business management and accounting. These things did not have my passion. Finally, I got a massage during a very stressful point in my life, and decided I should follow my heart. ...

I researched schools for massage and decided that Utah College of Massage Therapy was the right fit for my desires. While we were studying Structural Integration I decided to continue on to the Master Bodyworker Program. I have specialized training in Myokinetic Techniques, Advanced Eastern Modalities, Functional and Orthopedic Assessment, Hydrostone Therapy, Advanced Cranial Sacral Therapy Kinesiology, and quickly working my way to more certifications.
With all of these tools under my command I work best with chronic pain conditions, including headache pain management. Improving posture and releasing restrictions being usually the first step.
I provide massage in South Jordan, Utah.

Other interests and hobbies of mine vary widely from reading to crafting of all sorts.

Had issues with shoulder stiffness. In just one session she had restored a big portion of my range of motion. Very professional did a great job describing what she was going to do.

I remembered Nora for a couple years waiting for her to open her private practice, that's how good she is! Highly recommended, especially if you love deep tissue/therapeutic massage. I'm sure she can do a "fluff" massage for enjoyment as well, but personally I prefer her healing hands to help me with the tough knots and tension in my back.
