The idea of using the body heal the body through motion and physical methods has long appealed to me, and is the foundation of my attraction to massage as a profession.

I became a Certified Massage Practitioner* in 1989, graduating from Diamond Light School of Massage in Fairfax, California.  I have been practicing massage ever since.  I received a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, with an emphasis on anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, from Sonoma State in 1999. I volunteered in several physical therapy clinics for over 2 years. I received my California State Certification #13281 as a Massage Therapist in September, 2010.

My focus is therapeutic massage; I am an anatomical sleuth! My anatomy background assists me in discovering the muscle/tendon/joint that is the source of discomfort; my kinesiology background enables me to describe the postures or movements that have created or maintained this problem.

You can find me at my Sonoma office on Friday, my Santa Rosa office on Saturday; outcall in the Bodega Bay/ Sonoma County coastal area on Sundays.

My other interests are marine biology, yoga, sailing, hiking, and playing with my two little granddaughters!
