Sarah brings over 18 years of experience to her clients. In 2001 she graduated from the Connecticut Center for Massage Therapy, passed her national board exam and became nationally certified and a Connecticut licensed massage therapist; she began working in her own private practice as well as spending 7 years in a busy physical therapy clinic. She has treated patients with every type of injury imaginable and specialized in chronic pain management and sports rehab. Building on what she learned practicing massage she began studies in women's reproductive health by obtaining her birth doula certification. She attended midwifery training at WomanCraft Midwifery Education in Amherst, Massachusetts. She then went on to complete her postpartum doula certification and placenta encapsulation training with Full Circle Placenta. Encapsulation is a something she is very passionate about! She was trained and is certified through Full Circle Placenta, Biologix-Bloodborne Pathogens Certification and Servsafe Food Handlers. She is also a certified MotherMassage® therapist, an additional training in prenatal massage.
Sarah earned her Bachelor's of Science degree from Northeastern University in Boston with a major in Healthcare Administration and Biology. Currently she is attending Naturopathic Medical School at the University of Bridgeport and was awarded the position of being the University Campus Student representative for Bach Flower Remedies. She loves teaching and sharing her knowledge with others and holds workshops as often as her schedule will allow. When not at work she loves spending time outdoors with her husband and two dogs, a Boston Terrier and a Great Dane. Sarah makes every effort to meet the needs of all her clients and feels truly honored to have the privilege to work with each person she meets.
