What attracted me to a career in massage? I lived at Harbin hot springs from 1991-1993 and I studied Zen Shiatsu and Watsu with Harold Dull (the creator of "watsu") . It was an amazing place to live. I lost all my prejudices around body shapes and sizes.. I studied also with another mentor/ teacher: Diana Lonsdale (Deep Tissue massage). I worked at a cozy spa in Calistoga for a year before moving back to Minnesota.

I continue to study and learn new techniques. I have found myofascial release and positional release to be very powerful modalities. This summer I go to study Meridian Massage with Cindy Black.
