Samantha is a full-time massage therapist with over 750 hours from various Massage School such as Calistoga Massage School and Mckinnon School of Bodywork. She has been in the Spa business for over 2 years now but enjoys the art of healing with massage more than the relaxation portion, though they do go hand in hand. Samantha was originally introduced to massage as a young child suffering from chronic migraines. Now as an adult she strives to have a deep understanding about the body, muscles and where to pain truly originates from to give relief to her clients. Samantha embodies compassion and a soothing touch with a blended approach heavily influenced by the flow style of Lomi Lomi (forearm massage) - a Hawaiian bodywork modality - that harmonizes beautifully with her natural rhythmic, yet therapeutic style. She also loves working with hot stones, appreciating their grounding, warm undertones in a treatment, especially on a cold winter day. She accomodates to each individual she works with, understanding their specific pressure preferences and pain tolerance is subjective, and does her best to match each client's desired needs by being mindful and transparent, not only during intake but during the massage as well.
