I graduated from the Seattle Massage School in 1994 and continued as a Teacher assistant for a year post graduation.
My 27 years’ experience has been working in multidisciplinary clinics in conjunction with both Eastern and Western medical doctors as well as Physical Therapist, Kinesiologist, Osteopaths and Surgeons. In this time, I’ve owned and operated my own multidisciplinary clinic for 8 years and the recent ten years managing the massage department for a multi-clinic Physical Therapy Team and worked for a start up that integrated mental health, physical health and overall wellbeing in a corporate environment.
I believe that by finding freedom through movement one can live, work, and play with greater confidence and ease. I strive to educate my clients and empower their self-healing with individualized goals that feeds their mind, body and soul to facilitate that goal. My advanced training has been with Neuromuscular Therapy, Myofascial Release, Manual Lymphatic Drainage, Active Release Technique, Muscle Energy Technique, Manual Ligament therapy, Injury assessment and treatment, post-surgery and traumatic injury, postural reeducation and Pregnancy massage. Although most of my career has been spent providing technical massage with injury, treatment and rehabilitation, I also enjoy giving a grounding and relaxing massage for general well being.
Outside of work you can find me feeding my soul with music, art, camping, cooking, playing near water, and nurturing a passion in my children for living and loving life to the fullest.
