In 2008, while living in India, I began studying Ayurveda, and was trained in Abhyanga, the traditional warm oil massage. Since returning to Seattle in 2014, I've continued my Ayurvedic studies, and also went to massage school here, at Cortiva, graduating in 2015. Cortiva was a wonderful experience, where I learned also Swedish massage. Additionally, because of my work as a doula, prenatal yoga teacher, and in the past as a midwife's assistant, I have also trained in prenatal massage, taking Kate Jordan's course: Massage for the Childbearing year.  Currently, I work at Bastyr as an Ayurvedic therapist giving patients an array of Ayurvedic therapies. I also rent a room at Aditi Yoga Studio in Wallingford, where I see clients for Ayurvedic massage, prenatal massage and Swedish massage.
