After experiencing the healing benefits from my first massage, from the serene and beautiful environment to the effective gentle but firm massage I was given, I was in love with the profession.  I always enjoyed artistic work with my hands and I wanted to bring healing like that to others.  This was in 1995.  In 1996 I graduated from an apprentice style small school in PA.  My original foundation of massage included swedish, shiatsu acupressure and reflexology.  These are still my favorite tools, though I've also broadened my skills and techniques through continuing education.  I began studying maternity massage in 2000, also becoming a birth doula in 2004 and have maintained that as my specialty since.  I also am passionate about holistic nutrition and teach the art of making cultured foods as well as provide classes in Dancing for Birth ™ and holistic parenting skills such as: infant massage, infant pottying, baby signs and How to Live Cleaner in a Chemical Soup World.
