Elisabeth Fleming-Prot founded Equinox Healing Arts with Jane Drichta after they graduated from Brenneke School of Massage (now Cortiva) in 2004. They specialized in pregnancy and postpartum massage, and were also doulas, working in hospitals, birth centers, and homes. They also saw many clients with chronic or acute injuries, and developed a style of massage that incorporates deep tissue, trigger point work, myofascial release, as well as Swedish massage.
After several years, Jane focused more on the childbirth side of things, becoming a midwife and an infant sleep specialist, while Elisabeth concentrated on massage, becoming an in-network provider with insurance companies, and discovered Bowenwork. Elisabeth added Bowenwork to the services she offers, and became a Professional Bowenwork Practitioner.
In 2014, Jane left Equinox Healing Arts LLC to pursue other interests in the healthcare field.
Elisabeth has additional certification in pregnancy and postpartum massage (Massage for the Childbearing Year), and has taken many hours of continuing education in deep tissue massage and Bowenwork. She has recently added Ligament Influenced Fascial Therapy (LIFT), a powerful neuro-muscular re-education modality that fascilitates facial unwinding, to her toolbox.
Elisabeth in in-network with Aetna, Cigna, First Choice, Moda Health, Group Health PPO, Regence, and UnitedHealthcare. Personal injury (PIP) claims are welcome as well.

Elisabeth sees clients of all ages, and enjoys helping them heal and overcome discomfort so they can be fully present in their lives.
When she is not having adventures with her two daughters, Elisabeth enjoys going to the beach, reading, and climbing stairs (usually not all at the same time). She would like to do more cycling, snowboarding, swimming, and playing tennis.
Equinox Healing Arts LLC is located in Ballard, on 65th St. near the Goodwill store, Slave to the Needle, and Stock Cafe.
