Leslie's expertiese is in providing gentle work which is non-painful yet still powerful enough to modify long-term body discomfort caused by physical or emotional stress. She prides herself on designing individualized treatments in concert with her clients.  Her ritual is to greet all clients by asking how they are feeling now and how they would like to feel after the session.

Although Leslie is trained in multiple disciplines including Myofascial Release, Swedish and Thai massage, Shiatsu,  Neuromuscular Therapy and Structural Integration,  she charges the same rate for each 60 or 90 minute session.  She believes each session evolves organically. The majority of sessions are integrative and client satisfaction is the goal.

I had pain in my neck & shoulder for about 3 weeks and it was not improving. Well, Massage Works is aptly named because the bodywork that I received by Leslie was such a relief. She worked primarily on the tight muscles of my neck, arm & shoulder. I felt the loosening and softening of the muscles right after the massage and it has continued to improve for the last 24 hours. I would say that I am 90% back to normal and ready to go on my trip abroad tomorrow! I highly recommend Massage Works and intend to make it a regular routine for my body health and well-being!
