I am passionate about utilizing massage therapy and bodywork to help others feel better. I have been a successful practicing licensed massage therapist for 18 years, excelled for over 10 years as a full time massage therapy instructor, teach graduate school level exercise science at a regionally accredited university, have been a featured educator at national conventions, and am a member of the massage therapy hall of fame. I take great pride in teaching others as a nationwide approved provider of continuing education for massage therapists & health care professionals. I am also a published writer, consultant, mentor, Florida licensed real estate agent, and former public school teacher.
My
experiences, reputation, and success in the massage profession has
earned me notoriety as an expert in my field.
As
a massage therapist, I incorporated a lifetime of personal experiences
(athletics, injuries, rehabilitation) and training into
my practice over the years to provide an effective treatment protocol
for others.
The massage therapy I have provided to all levels of athletes over the
years is well known, including my work with the international rowing teams
and professional kayakers training year round in Indian Harbour Beach
Florida. I have also helped many of our military veterans and active duty
with their injuries and rehabilitation.
My area of expertise is the assessment
& treatment of soft tissue pathologies, pain relief, and client
education.
I perform Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone, lomilomi, chair, medical, facial, cranial, abdominal, and pregnancy massages, along with neuromuscular therapy, myofascial release, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, Trager Approach, active isolated stretching, isometric stretching, positional release, and postural re-education. I also provide electric muscle stimulation, hot & cold applications, exfoliating scrubs, and paraffin treatments.
