I initially became interested in human movement and function in my early twenties when I took a job as a Chiropractic Assistant. Administering the rehab center and taking x-rays of patients, I quickly learned how bodies respond to injury and the healing process. Many career transits later, I have returned to my first love of the human body through several injuries and a finally a serious low back injury that made work impossible. Through the rehabilitative process, I discovered Hendrickson Method® which was the first modality that gave me sustained relief and function. Inspired by my own healing, I completed two years of training and continue to expand my training with modalities such as NeuroKinetic Therapy® and Anatomy in Motion.
There is really an endless amount of study around the human body and its function. I'm really happy to be in a career that allows me to constantly learn and assist others on their healing journey.
