Beau graduated with a Bachelors of Science degree from Portland State University in Portland, Oregon. After studying exercise and sport science in college Beau turned his attention to movement, massage and manual therapies. He discovered his passion for improving the function and health of the human body. With a focus on pain free movement and human performance Beau has since completed numerous programs and certifications within these fields. Along the way Beau met his wife and co-owner Sydney, while in Hawaii. They relocated to Los Angeles where they started a family. Together they have built Functional Health + Wellness. Beau enjoys the ocean, hiking, participating in sports, working out, surfing, diving and spending time with his family. He also has been involved in Heal the Bay initiatives and other environmental programs.
