I have been doing massage since I was a young girl. My mother had been hit by a drunk driver when I was 18m months old and was temporarily paralyzed on the left side of her body and after surgery she gained back her mobility but she also gained a lot of pain in her back. Since she was single parent, she would often use my sisters and me to give her massage, and this eventually led to me becoming a massage therapist.

Since she was single parent, she would often use my sisters and me to give her massage, and this eventually led to me becoming a massage therapist. 


My specialty lies in deep tissue and sports massage. In other words, I am good at helping people when they are in pain due to tight muscles, muscle spasms, and a pulled or "cricked" muscle. Additionally, I am good at helping athletes and weekend warriors to stay in top shape so they can perform at their peak. 

My recent curiosity has been health coaching.  I was trained at Duke Integrative Medicine in Durham, NC. Health coaching is a process that helps people find their way to their ideal health. It incorporates mindfulness, positive psychology, mind-body connection, and the whole model is based on the science of change.
