To me, massage is an artful expression that blends my passion for holistic living and my curiosity of the human body. I have been a certified massage therapist since 2010 after completing a 1000-hour training at the Boulder College of Massage Therapy. My training included a very well-rounded curriculum that included swedish massage, shiatsu, neurostructural integration, and craniosacral. I often creatively blend these modalities into one fluid treatment. My training allows me to approach the body with a solid understanding of the anatomy and a sensitivity to the subltle flow of energy. I focus on promoting anatomical balance and engaging the parasympathetic nervous system to help clients feel grounded in thier body.

Over the past six years I have worked in private practice and in luxury spas. Most recently I've worked at The Ritz Carlton, Half Moon Bay and The Spa Los Gatos. The spa environment has influenced my emphasis on engaging all the senses to enduce greater relaxation and stress relief. My services pair luxurious additions like parafin hand treatments and hot towels with aromatherapy with deep theraputic massage.

Currently, I am pursing a degree in Nutritional Science from San Jose State University and will soon add Registerd Dietician Nutritionist (RDN) to my title. My education in nutrition science heavily emphasizes physiology and pathophysiology. This knowledge gives me a broader understanding of how the body works to maintain health and vitality and the consequences that arise when homeostasis is disrupted. I bring this knowledge with me into my massage practice to better assess my client's needs and devise effective treatment plans.

We are all unique, so each session is personalize to meet the client's specific and individual needs at the time of thier appointment. I actively listen to what my clients say and also to what I observe from the body. My intention is to bring awarness to tight, stagnant areas so that change can occur. It is my firm belief that when we are aware of what is happening within our body, we bring a greater sense of awareness into the world around us.

I look forward to working with you to help you create greater balance and wellbeing in your body and your life.
