Since 2010, William Fuller has been a Structural Bodyworker and Certified Massage Therapist working in San Francisco, California. Thanks to extensive background in Sport Science, William combines multiple massage styles with holistic principles to achieve effective body tension release and positive structural change.

Born and raised in the United Kingdom, sports played a major role in William's own development from an early age. In high school he discovered a passion for understanding the role that anatomy, physiology, body mechanics, and nutrition play in peak sporting performance. This led him to pursue a BTEC National Diploma in Sports and Applied Science at Mid Kent College.

Following an overuse injury at age 18 (for which the doctor told him, "I hope you don't like sports because you're never playing again"), William focused his attention on deepening his knowledge, skills, and understanding of the human body and its application to sports by obtaining an undergraduate degree in Sports Science from Southampton University, followed by a Post-Gaduate Certificate of Education in Physical Education from Southampton University. Over the next five years, William taught a vast range of sports, abilities, and ages around the world, including England, Kenya, and Kuwait.

In 2010, William stumbled upon a unique physical rehabilitation training program in San Francisco, founded by Dr. Meir Schneider. Dr. Schneider had been born blind to deaf parents, but had regained his vision through a series of vision and body exercises. Following this extraordinary event, Dr. Schneider established a physical rehabilitation training program based on combining in-depth knowledge of the human body with movements, and applying self-care techniques, such as massage and stretching. Inspired and intrigued by Dr. Schneider's vision, William moved to San Francisco and enrolled in the program. It was during this training that Willian learnt a variety of massage modalities and how to utilize them based on his clients' needs.

Following graduation, William worked at the Sports and Recreation Center at University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He is now part of the Chiro-Medical Group, a top sports medicine clinics in the city. Chiro-Medical Group brings experienced professionals from a variety of fields (including massage and physical therapy, chiropractic care, nutrition, and medicine) to apply a collaborative, multi-disciplinarian approach to health care.

Incredibly helpful. I have been dealing with back pain and and off for years, and saw Will during a 6 month long flare up. I felt better after seeing him then I have in months. Thanks Will!

I have had a couple appointments so far, with more scheduled, to supplement recovery from two knee surgeries in the last year and plantar fasciitis that has lingered for multiple years. I appreciate his holistic approach to overall wellness for the body and mind. My biggest challenges in my post-op recovery have been tightness and knots from lengthy periods without exercise and surgery recovery. Will has used the graston technique to free up the tightness that has been around for a long time and I have noticed a real shift in what I am able to accomplish at physical therapy and on the stationary bike. My gait is smoother and feels "more normal" and I can increase time on the bike without the nagging muscle pain and tightness. I now spend more time moving which gives me more time to rebuild after surgery. My plantar fasciitis has improved so much that I can now walk around barefoot on hardwood floors, this is a really big deal for me! My foot pain is not just better for a 1-2 days after the session, but lasts longer and gets better with every appointment. I highly recommend Will to anyone recovering from surgery or just "dealing" with a physical ailment that has been difficult to overcome.

While Graston with Will doesn’t come without pain (this is not a gentle aromatherapy massage), it works and the results are awesome. I started seeing him during recovery from a broken ankle to make sure my biomechanics were returning to normal following a long period of time in a boot. Consistent sessions with him during that time are really helping to compliment physical therapy as he is focusing on releasing tension everywhere so that my injury recovery can progress more quickly without risk of collateral injuries down the road. Thanks Will!

I really liked how everything that William done was explained in detail. You could tell that he really believed in what he was doing. Not just a massage! Even though I have only been once, I am returning, I was very impressed. He was very professional and I felt good the next day!
