Certified Baby's First Massage Instructor

As of January 26, 2009 the requirements for becoming a certified newborn massage instructor have been fulfilled. I am prepared to assist in fulfilling the Baby's First Massage Program mission: to reach out to families everywhere and learn to use massage with their baby, beginning as soon after the birth as possible. I will be able to assist families in this art and skill so the families will be able to blend massage into their everyday language and activities.

Usui System of Reiki Healing

This certificate signifies that I have completed the First Degree Course in the Usui System of Reiki Healing as of January 26, 2003.

Registered Therapist Member - International Massage Association

This certificate signifies that I am a Registered Therapist Member in good standing of the International Massage Association.

Massage Practitioner Certificate Program

Requirements fulfilled in this program include 200 hours of professional training in massage theory and practice, body and breath awareness, subtle energy work, anatomy, counseling skills for body-workers, and supervised massage experience. Certificate of completion as of August 31, 1987.

Institute of Myopathy Certificate of Participation

Completion of 15 hours basic training continuing education workshop in Myopathy (Neuromuscular Re-eduction) as of May 19, 1991.

California Massage Therapy Association

Accreditation with 8 study hours of training in the field of Massage Therapy during March 21-23, 1991.

Massage Therapist - Cliffs Resort

1997-2004 Provided healthy body treatments for guests in the hotel including Hot Stone massage, Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage.

Massage Therapist/Owner - Grover Beach Therapeutic Massage Center

1992-1997 Operated massage business, created advertising, provided healthy body treatments for chiropractic patients and other doctor's referrals, billed insurance.

Massage Therapist - Lawson Chiropractic Inc.

1990-1996 Provided healthy body treatments for clients which included Swedish, Deep Tissue, Sports, and Neuromuscular Re-education.

Massage Therapist - A Stress Reduction Center

1987-1990 Provided healing massage treatments for reducing stress.

Angel Intuitive Course

This course teaches one to call in Angels to help relieve emotional, spiritual, and mental stress through meditation to give a peace of mind.

Chakra Balancing - Reiki Blessings Academy

This certificate signifies that all necessary coursework and case studies of the Reiki Blessings Academy was completed in Chakra Balancing issued February 23, 2012.

Certified Angel Card Reader

This certifies that successful completion of the four-week online Certified Angel Card Reader course requirements were met.

Chakra Yoga Teacher Training

This certifies successful completion of the Sacred Centers Workshop Chakra Yoga Teacher Training in a 24-hour course given at MYSF Yoga Studio in San Francisco, CA November 23-24 and December 14-15, 2013.

Reiki II Practitioner

This certificate signifies successful completion of requirements of the Usui system of healing and teaching as a Reiki II Practitioner as of September 12, 2004.

Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals

This certifies that I am in good standing of Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals. Certified, Professional, Practitioner, Specialized, and Esthetician level members meet specific eligibility requirements based on training. All members are required to maintain the highest standards of professional conduct and strictly adhere to the ABMP Code of Ethics. Issued January 1, 2002.
