After close to a decade in the medical field, I made the organic transition into massage and graduated Wellness Massage Center & Institute, St. Albans, VT in 2010. An accident left me with a great deal of healing to do, which my mother thankfully thought massage would be beneficial to assist with. Having been helped to recover through massage therapy, I now practice with hopefulness that I can assist others in their personal health journeys.
I perform mostly therapeutic massage, using a number of different modalities to achieve our goals, such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, Shiatsu, Chinese cupping, Thai and PNF stretching techniques. Continuing education, and learning new techniques and modalities is extremely important to me. I have taken additional coursework in Thai massage, Craniosacral Therapy, and Structural Integration. Sometimes, just having a peaceful and nurturing place to come to is the most beneficial thing I can provide to some clients.
In my free time my husband, two dogs, and I love going to the beach, running, sailing, throwing pottery, camping, hiking, wine tasting, brewing beer, making sushi, snowboarding, and traveling. I am fluent in American Sign Language, and my husband and I are active volunteers in the deaf community.
