I am an artist.  I am guided by intuition and am served by a solid education and deep curiosity about the human condition, mind-body-soul. I am constantly researching, learning and expanding my skills, tools and capacity to bring wellness, joy and healing to myself, my clients, friends and community. My specialty as a massage therapist is an integrative approach that focuses on your needs.  I combine a variety of techniques and generally you will receive some combination of swedish, deep tissue and energy somatics.  Every massage will be uniquely tailored according to your requests and verbal cues. Guided by intuition and responding to feedback from your musculature and energy body I will treat the experience as though I am creating and restoring a treasured work of art.

I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from John F. Kennedy University where I graduated with summa cum laude honors. In the Art and Consciousness Studies program at JFKU I learned to use artistic process as a form of healing. I was greatly elated to discover massage therapy as yet one more artistic medium with which I can be guided by intuition while employing learned and honed skills to create balance and wellness in my own life and in my community.

Coaching

Holistic Healing and Life Coach

In addition to basic massage therapy training I received two certificates from the World School of Massage and Holistic Healing Arts. The first in Energy Somatic Massage and the second in Holistic Health and Life Coaching. After completing the regular coursework I added hundreds of hours of additional practical sessions honing skills in leadership, active listening, self awareness, and both goal oriented and self discovery coaching. I have officially launched my coaching practice and am continuing to learn and expand my skills through a masters degree program at Andrew University: Personal Development and Well-being.
