After more than 20 years as a martial artist studying multiple systems, as well as being an amateur weightlifter, I have a long history of injury. Massage therapy, Chiropractic work, and acupuncture were the things that kept me functioning and on the mat. I saw such value in these modalities that I wanted to use my personal experiences and understanding of the body and movement to pay it forward.

I am fascinated by the complexity of human movement, both in and out of dysfunction. Using soft tissue manipulation, myofascial release, visceral manipulation, cranio-sacral therapy and movement re-education,  my goals are to reintroduce my clients to the fuller expression of the intelligence of the body and its proper balance and function.

Posture correction, injury recovery, chronic pain patterns, and plain old stress management are just a few of the possible benefits waiting for you. All you have to do is commit to your own self care. Invest in the health of your future self.

Best massage ever. Truly. Alan knows the body extremely well and knows how to heal. I’ve had many massages in my lifetime. This one tops them all. Looking forward to the next one!

Alan is extremely professional, has excellent anatomy knowledge, and incredible deep tissue massage skills. The massage room, located in a lovely home converted into offices, is clean and comfortable.

Amazing massage therapist. Alan is intuitive, compassionate and skilled. He used just the right amount of pressure and helped relieve the tension of imbalances from old injuries in a single session. He is professional and an excellent communicator. I highly recommend him.

Alan is the best massage therapist I have ever gone to. He finds areas of tightness that I did not know I had and works those knots out in addition to my chronically tight areas. He gives an excellent deep massage. Highly recommend.

I went to Alan to help reduce tension in my neck and shoulders, and he has done an excellent job. He has also given me tools and knowledge to help improve my posture, which is the underlying issue.

Alan is awesome!

Disliked almost all of it, it was awesome. This is not a spa massage. This is work. Alan is very insightful, has the ability to identify issues and address them. I initially planned to come in monthly, but after the first session decided it's worth going bi-weekly to work out the deep stuff, and then switch to monthly maintenance. I've done lots of bodywork in the past, no one is as knowledgeable as Alan.
