1 hour: $120
1.5 hrs: $175
2 hrs: $225
2.5 hrs: $270
We both confirm:
- No temperature/fever - we're feeling OK.
- No known contact in the last 2 weeks.
- Bathed before the appointment (or as close to appt as is practicable). I'm only seeing 1 client a day, so I'll not have seen anyone prior to you, and I'll have fresh clothes, etc.
Generally:
- When I arrive, I'll go straight to the restroom and wash up; nothing in your home will be touched without freshly washed/sanitized hands. I'll have my own soap/towels etc.
- Both have masks on, mine's on the whole time.
- When face down you don't need to wear a mask, as we'll use YOUR pillowcase to make a "hammock". When face-up, there are a couple of mask/covering options depending on outside/inside, day/night, and comfort.
- We'll use my sheets, of course appropriately cleaned.
About me:
How do you want to feel? Right now? What's preventing you from feeling that way?
For me, it all starts with those questions. We've all been there, where something just feels a little "off". Energy level is low, perhaps not sleeping well; random points of pain, the sources of which are ambiguous at best; difficulty moving, waking up and suddenly not being able to lift your leg or turn your head to the right for some unknown reason; emotionally drained or fragmented, and just looking for a little more balance in your body and mind.
We've all been there - in fact, we're all there right now. That's why you're reading this. :)
Our anatomy works as a cohesive, singular unit. The muscles, fascia, bones, tendons, and ligaments can be located, touched, and encouraged to move with more comfort. But it's the layers within, the unexpected (and often magical) connections between the obvious and the less understood, that really excite me: how gentle stretching can allow the opposing muscle to relax; how non-invasive Vagus nerve work can almost immediately relax the entire body; how unraveling the fascia (the stuff that holds it all in place) is so critical to overall muscle mobility & health; how simply receiving touch can invigorate the soul. And anatomy can only function at its highest level when it's in harmony with nerve-energy and emotional balance. That's what the "Integrative" of "Integrative Bodywork" means to me. Bodywork truly is a fluid blend of these 3 things.
Bringing attention to your body increases your self-awareness, your body-awareness, encouraging still moments within yourself to let go a bit. Sometimes, we just need a structured place to almost force us to relax.
Music is such a critical element, since we're really working with all the senses. From chamber music if you want to be soothed, to journeying sounds if you want to zone out, to underground techno if you want to be energized, we'll find the right fit.
Perhaps most importantly, I firmly believe in the power of human touch. It's OK to want that, to simply receive pleasure, to have a safe place where you can just feel good. To have an energetically clean and soft space to relax. How often I observe clients who simply want to receive a relaxing, pleasurable massage, and are almost embarrassed to say it as if it's not a good enough reason. IT IS!
I've been in San Francisco now about 23 years (all pretty much within 7 blocks of Alamo Square), and am excited to be caring for those with whom I call it home.
