I believe everyone is unique and everyone's body is unique, so for me, there is no one way to do a massage which can help all.

To start off our session, I like to do a little postural assessment as well as ask you a few questions about how your body is doing, type of work you do, any physical activities/physical hobbies you participate in, if you are taking any medications, and if you have any injuries. I gather this information so I can better personalize a treatment to best suit your needs in the most effective way.

I'm firm believer in taking the time to balance and nurture your body, mind, and spirit, through whatever means fits with the type of life you live. I myself love the outdoors! I'm no gym junkie, but I move my body in ways that keep me flexible and strong without hitting the gym. You are the most valuable investment you will ever make so take care of yourself!

I've had a LOT of massages in my life, and Mar is in a league of her own. She is incredibly intuitive and has an amazing sense of the body. The two massages I had with Mar were therapeutic and left me feeling great!

I don't feel like I got a lot out of the session. I expressed that my neck and shoulders were very tense/sore and at times it felt like she was working on the right spots, but overall I'm still stiff. It was a nice massage, just not the bodywork expected that I was going in for.

Mar is strong and did excellent deep tissue bodywork. She has great energy and provide led tips for stretching. I’d book her again.

Mar is an amazing massage therapist! I'm very picky about massage because I need really slow, deep pressure to relieve my fibro issues, and not every practitioner can or wants to deliver that. Not only did Mar listen to me, she had an amazing touch and found all my muscle knots pretty much instantly. Thanks again!
