Hayden Marcus likes helping people and interacting on a deep level. In the course of pursuing these interests he's been led to develop a technique for energy healing, create a system for releasing people from blocks that are currently holding them back, to study hypnosis and emotional freedom technique, and to learn and consistently practice meditation. Hayden also learned to provide, and to receive, incredibly relaxing massages. Hayden found that the key to understanding himself, which he assumes to be true for everyone, is to open up to what's happening with him right now, and to do that requires a letting go of all the swirling firmament of normal thinking. Discovering that massage could create relaxation to accomplish this, and be very similar in quality to the relaxation that meditation gives him, was extremely revealing.
Hayden trained at McKinnon Body Therapy Center in Oakland, which he can't say enough good things about. While there he learned about Swedish, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Reflexology, and Thai Massage. Hayden put a lot of focus into Thai training and has continued to emphasize this in his work since then. Hayden also took classes in onsite chair massage, Touch and Trauma, and Massage for Cancer. These were very enjoyable and have served him well as a professional. Since finishing school Hayden has also trained in Marma and started doing couples massage training and teaching classes. Hayden found that his previous experience in facilitating healing and his training in the art of Aikido have enhanced his ability to provide his clients with a fulfilling massage experience.

I first learned to meditate in 1994 and began a daily practice in 2003. I have been teaching meditation to individuals and leading personal and group meditations since 2006.
I first started doing hypnosis in 1997 and have continued to train and refine my skills over the years. I use both trance and no-trance styles of hypnotherapy.
I have been working with people as a transformational healer since 2011, helping to refine belief systems to work out negative patterns of thought and instill practical, action oriented, and self affirming concepts.
