With a Masters of Fine Arts in Dance Choreography from Mills College in Oakland, CA, Rachel has been teaching dance at the community college level since 2013.  Additionally, she holds her CTTC in Pilates from Body Arts and Sciences Institute and studied under Karen Clippinger at CSULB.  

She has taught Pilates in various studios since 2008.

During the corona virus, Rachel has been more than helpful! She has been very mindful that I am 65. She offered to buy groceries for me when she goes to the market and leave them outside her door for me, in her little courtyard. Knowing how badly I need to stretch and exercise, she even arranged zoom video calls that she recorded and sent me! What a great personal pilates trainer. It doesn't get better than this!

Rachel has the skill and vocabulary of a good instructor. She knows and understands the human body and is impeccable in her training. My physical issues have subsided since I started training with Rachel. I am grateful to have found her.

Rachel always makes our workouts fun and challenging. She’s always changing the routine just enough to keep things interesting while still hitting all the muscle groups. My husband and I go together and Rachel is able to meet both of our needs keeping us both happy and fit.

My training with Rachel had been amazing and life-changing. She is always aware of my level of ability and especially insightful to any health or physical issues I have had. She is aware of my body's weakness (my posture) and has been working with me on core strength, always with my goals in mind to improve my posture. The workouts ALWAYS improve upon my fitness, yet she makes the sessions fun!!!! I cannot recommend her enough!!! Truly transforming!!
