My mother had crushed three discs in her neck and had to have two surgeries to fuse the vertebrae. After 2 years she had to have her third surgery to fuse the next two discs then a fourth surgery. After the fourth surgery she was given massage therapy session that helped regain mobility and for pain management. Workman's comp decided it was too costly and took the benefit of massage away, claiming if she wanted to sleep "Take a sleeping pill". I told her I would go to school and become her therapist. 12 years later, here I am. Loving what I do and plan to do this for a very long time.
