Relax...it's a word we all love to use but we have such a hard time achieving in today's world. Its not uncommon for the stress of the day to build up in your muscles (i.e. your back, neck, shoulders, etc).

Massage therapy has been a long standing method that increases general muscular wellness through relaxation and therapeutic work of muscular tissue. Not only does it feel great but it keeps the muscles, fascia, and joints all in good working order. As stated in a massage research study on chronic tension headaches, "...muscle specific massage therapy technique...has the potential to be a functional, non-pharmacological intervention for reducing the incidence of chronic tension headache," (Quinn, 2002).

I have currently been practicing massage therapy since 2011 and have certifications in deep tissue work, cranial sacral therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and my national licensure in orthopedic massage. I have worked in many diverse settings for massage therapy; however, I enjoy the therapeutic work the most. I am also a graduate of The University of Incarnate Word with my bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science.

I look forward to meeting each new client and helping them achieve their wellness goals. smile

She works different parts of my body each time, as my condition changes, which makes me believe she really knows what she is doing, as a medical massage practitioner

The skill and targeted work coupled with a vast knowledge of muscles, nerves, joints and just the human body overall makes these massages far above what can found at most any location in this area. I couldn't be anymore pleased to recommend Leah and A Noticed Difference to anyone.

Leah is a consummate professional. She is highly educated and receives the highest recommendations from medical personnel who refer medical patients for Leah's outstanding contribution to their well-being. My particular complaint was nearly unbearable tensions headaches. I am now in my tenth month of being headache free. I have been in Leah's care for the same ten months.
