Massage therapy has been a long standing method that increases general muscular wellness through relaxation and therapeutic work of muscular tissue. Not only does it feel great but it keeps the muscles, fascia, and joints all in good working order. As stated in a massage research study on chronic tension headaches, "...muscle specific massage therapy technique...has the potential to be a functional, non-pharmacological intervention for reducing the incidence of chronic tension headache," (Quinn, 2002).
I have currently been practicing massage therapy since 2011 and have certifications in deep tissue work, cranial sacral therapy, neuromuscular therapy, and my national licensure in orthopedic massage. I have worked in many diverse settings for massage therapy; however, I enjoy the therapeutic work the most. I am also a graduate of The University of Incarnate Word with my bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science.
I look forward to meeting each new client and helping them achieve their wellness goals.TX # MT112567
