I had the opportunity to work as a receptionist/spa attendant at the Casa Blanka Spa in Mesquite, NV. While there I noticed how people would enter the spa tired, sore, in pain and would leave relaxed, calm, and at peace; I wanted to be the type of person who influenced others in that way so in 1999 I quite that job, moved to Salt Lake City, UT where I enrolled at the Salt Lake branch of Utah College of Massage Therapy.
