Hi There! I'm Kristine Roberts, Licensed Massage Therapist and owner of Kristine's Healing Hands, LLC. My love and inspiration for massage therapy began when I suffered from a compression fracture of my T3 and T4 vertebra. Aside from the pain of the actual fracture, the muscle pain and tension was unbearable. Muscle relaxers and other prescribed pain medications made me a depressed zombie! The only thing that truly made me feel BETTER, was massage therapy treatment.

I received my massage therapy training at the Flint School of Therapeutic Massage in 2013. After working in two well known Spas in the Saginaw area, winning Saginaw Township's Review  Magazines Best of the Best 2016 during this time, I learned my specialty in massage therapy is therapeutic pain relief. Using multiple techniques along with relaxing energy work, I listen to clients specific issues and tailor each massage specifically to the fit their needs.

These techniques include Deep Tissue massage, alleviating chronic muscle tension using deep pressure along with muscle manipulation techniques. Myofascial connective tissue release, alleviating pain and restoring motion using a combination of instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization and hot stones. Sciatica relief is also targeted with a combination of these techniques and proper stretching. Suffering from TMJ and chronic migraines myself, I've developed a massage routine to reduce muscular tension and increase mobility in the temporal mandibular joint, therefor reducing or completely eliminating TMJ pain and chronic migraines.

Continuing education with multiple classes including Effective Mindfulness for Interventions for Rehab, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, Kinesiology Taping and Reiki 1 and 2. I am always eager to learn new techniques and modalities to continue to ensure my clients receive the best care! Along with a specifically tailored massage, I ensure my clients leave with the proper knowledge and stretching techniques to ensure continuing healing and progress at home! Kinesiology tape is also applied at the end of sessions to specific areas if needed. My goal is to make the client feel BETTER, and I will use every tool in my tool box to do so.
