Sonja F. Rockett, a Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT), graduated as valedictorian from the Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage in June of 2017.  Ms. Rockett has worked as a Licensed Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) for 19 years and received her BS degree from SUNY University at Buffalo in June of 1999.  In May of 2016, She received training in health and wellness coaching and is pursuing on-going training to re-certify as a Health and Wellness Coach.  Ms. Rockett's vision and passion comes from experience with her own wellness challenges and from witnessing other people suffer from several diseases and injuries. Chronic diseases and injuries are highly debilitating and tend to decrease peoples' quality of life and have a grave impact on public health yet are preventable. It is for this reason that Ms. Rockett embraces the idea of holistic approaches to health and wellness and desires to facilitate improvement in the physical, mental, and spiritual well-being of individuals through PurpleOrchids Massage & Wellness.
