I have always wanted to be someone who helps people feel better. I was attracted to massage because it allows me to work one on one with my clients and tailor massage to their individual needs. When I was checking out schools in the Bay Area over 28 years ago the one school everyone was using as their school they graduated from it was McKinnon School of Professional Massage and Bodywork- Today it is called the McKinnon Institute. They gave me the basics and over the last 28 years I have taken a variety of classes.
The latest was a Prenatal and Postpartum course.The reason I took the Prenatal & Postpartum massage course was because I love doing this type of massage.  I have worked occasionally on pregnant women but I fell in love with doing postpartum massage because the changes and relief women experience are absolutely amazing. This is not to say that I don't love doing other kinds of massage including Deep Tissue and Injury Rehab but there is something about helping a woman recover from her delivery that is very exciting. I am State Certified by the California Massage Therapy Council and continue to work on continuing education units through American Massage Therapist Association of whom I have been a member since 2000.

Some of the things I enjoy doing besides massage is cooking, reading and working out.  Right now I am actually pursuing a five program degree through Trinity School of Natural Health.  Educating myself so that I can educate my clients as they are interested. The five programs are Doctor of Naturapathy, Master Herbalist, Master Iridologist, Certified Health Specialist and Certified Nutritional Consultant.  So at the end of my schooling (in about four years) I will be able to function as a Holistic Consultant. The other thing that I do in my life that is a burning passion is the Minister at the Hayward Healing Rooms at Community of Grace, my church home.  I love praying for people and expecting God to deliver on His promises which are throughout the Bible.
