Tara has worked as a therapeutic massage therapist for over ten years. She has practiced in clinical and spa settings in Hawaii, New Zealand, Australia, and California. A Californian native, she moved to Maui to study therapeutic massage at Maui School of Therapeutic Massage in 2007. 

She is experienced in a wide range of modalities of massage theory and technique including Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, Neuromuscular Therapy, Deep Tissue, Swedish and more. Tara specializes in Prenatal Massage and has a Doula certificate, finishing Hearts and Hands Midwifery Intensives in August 2013. Using an integrative approach, Tara tailors each massage to the individual client. Her technique incorporates a blend of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi, therapeutic, and relaxing modalities. 

Tara is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP), and holds a BA in Psychology and a BS in Human Development from UC Davis.

Tara spent time before going over areas that need attention and level pressure that you fell comfortable with. As person who has had many orthopedic surgeries in my life her skill level and treatment was one of the best I ever had. Also my body and mind remained relaxed well after the therapy had ended. I highly recommend Tara. Her communication skills are caring and excellent. As a first time customer, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Tara walked me thru the massage process before we started and all my nervousness was erased. I will be returning.
