My goal is to provide safe and effective massage therapy using the most up to date scientific based information for all my clients.  Medical information changes regularly, and even though massage therapy has been around or thousands of years... Just because a massage technique has been around for 4000 years doesn't mean that it may be appropriate for use in certain conditions today...(We still can't see past the horizon, but we now know the world is no longer flat.) Our knowledge base has been expanded in the last 4000 years and I believe we should use it accordingly....  I love traditional modalities!!!! But there is a time and place when certain techniques need to be adjusted for YOUR best possible outcome.  Many massage therapists take a side... Traditional/Spiritual based or Scientific/Medical based modaltities... I love both and combine the two.  I take multiple IN PERSON continuing education credits a year, not because I have too, but because I love learning and exploring all there is to know about massage therapy.
