I came in for a sports massage after a lower body workout the day before. Usually it takes 48 hours for me to get sore but I was already very sore when I came in, which worried me a little. It was pretty intense, which I was fine with, but Krissy made it as useful as possible, watching and applying pressure with my breathing, and finding and thoroughly working on knots to improve flexibility and range of motion. We finished with some brief stretching, which I think was much more helpful at the end as all those knots had melted away. Krissy is very knowledgeable and very skilled, and I highly recommend her. To my surprise, I was not more sore the following day, which was fantastic. If you’re considering between this and something like StretchLab, while I think those guys are great, I think this is more therapeutic, particularly if you’re sore, and if you know how to, can, and willing to work on stretching yourself at home, this is a better choice.
