Barbara Bailey is a holistic practitioner, licensed in skin care, massage, nutrition, Ayurveda and yoga. Barbara began practicing massage, and skin care in the spa industry and holistic healing centers in 1995.

Barbara Bailey is a holistic practitioner, licensed in skin care, massage, nutrition, Ayurveda and yoga. Barbara began practicing massage, and skin care in the spa industry and holistic healing centers in 1995.
She had advanced skin care trainings through the International Dermal Institute, Ayurvedic specialty trainings and onsite at many natural spas over fifteen years. In 2001, she began studies in the holistic field with concentration in nutrition and the Ayurvedic model of health. After completing programs at Bauman College and California College of Ayurveda, and eventually accumulated 230 hours of continuing education, focusing on nutritional and Ayurvedic healing therapy programs, for detoxification, digestion, metabolism, weight and stress management.
From 2007-2009, she consulted at a natural pharmacy and became a Registered Yoga Teacher, providing personal training and yoga at two fitness clubs and started in private practice. She operated a wellness spa from 2012 to 2017.
Prior to the wellness and beauty spa industry, Barbara received her certification in early childhood education in Marin County, then taught for twelve years, including department supervision as head teacher and co-director for preschool, and school-aged children's programs.
Barbara and her family are lifelong members of the Unitarian Universalist Association. She has been initiated in meditation, Reiki healing, and yoga therapies including pranayama, mantra, chakra meditation, and Ayurvedic Marma point massage.
