Kristen is a John Barnes method expert level Myofascial Release practitioner and massage therapist.  She has practiced in the Kansas City area for over 20 years, after various forms of bodywork helped her with pain from various injuries and trauma.  Her passion is to work with people who have chronic/persistent pain due to surgeries, trauma, injuries or more complex medical conditions.

Her experience is primarily drawn from working with oncology patients and their caregivers for twelve years at Saint Luke’s Hospital Cancer Institute, and she is a certified Lymph Drainage (Klose and Chikly Institutes) and Oncology massage therapist (Tracy Walton).  She trained with John Barnes, PT and Lori Zeltwanger, PT, for her Myofascial Release training. Formerly with Midwest Myofascial Release Center, Kristen is now excited to serve clients at her practice in Roeland Park, Kansas.

She is a 1992 graduate of William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri and graduated from Massage Therapy Training Institute in 1999.
