When I got out of the Air Force back in 2007, I knew I wanted to get myself into a career where I was helping people out.  I went back to college for nursing, but discovered the massage program and knew from there on that it would be my passion in life.  In 2010 I graduated from Finger Lakes Community College with an associates in integrated Healthcare & Massage Therapy.  Since then, I've treated hundreds of clients with their muscle pain. After struggling with quadricep tendonitis for several weeks, I had a massage with Shawn in hopes of finding some relief—and I’m so glad I did. Shawn was knowledgeable about sports-related injuries and took the time to understand the history of my condition, including my activity level and areas of pain. The treatment was focused and intentional. Using a combination of deep tissue work, myofascial release, gentle stretching, and cupping he was able to target the inflammation and tightness around the quadriceps and knee. By the following day, the area felt significantly looser, and the sharp ache I had been experiencing was noticeably reduced. Highly recommend Shawn.
