Worked in Human Resources for the Department of the Army as a civilian for 6 years and served just under 10 years in the US Army Reserves with an overseas tour to Afghanistan back in 2009. I have always been interested in the medical field and truly believe I have found my calling with Massage Therapy. After sustaining some injuries during my military service I found that chiropractic adjustments and massage therapy actually relieved my symptoms when everything else the doctor recommended didn't seem to work. Through my training at Bodymechanics the Why?, Chiropractic adjustments and Massage Therapy work, started to make a whole lot of sense. So, my story is simple, it worked for me, and I'm here today to show you how Massage Therapy can work for you as well.

Professional Massage Experience:

Advanced training in injury treatment through the BodyMechanics School of Myotherapy and Massage. The school did an outstanding job at emphasizing the study of muscles and injury treatment. I also learned and incorporate some of the techniques learned from such modalities as Swedish gymnastics, Lomi Lomi, Thai, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, etc.

Special interest include treating injuries to the head/neck, shoulder and upper extremities. Assisting in the treatment of such injuries as TMJD/jaw pain, whiplash, headaches, frozen shoulder, double crush, thoracic outlet, and carpal tunnel syndromes.
