A Licensed Massage Therapist is who I am, not what I do

I received my first massage in 2012 and was instantly hooked.  From then on, I  started receiving monthly massages as I found it to be a form of relief from chronic back pain from sitting at a desk for 8 hours each day.  In 2014 I was ready for a career change and I started looking into massage therapy as I loved the idea of helping people like me (stressed out and overworked).  In June 2015 I took a leap of faith and quit my job and decided to enroll in massage school full time.  In June 201...

In June 2016, I graduated from Onondaga School of Therapeutic Massage and I have not looked back since.

I’ve been a resident of Rochester, NY since May, 2005.  I grew up in Grand Rapids, MI and after graduating High School I moved to Cleveland, TN to attend Lee University.  I received my Bachelor’s of Science in Business Administration in December 2002.  Traveling and exploring new places is something I love to do.  During my time at Lee, I traveled to North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Georgia, Virginia, Texas, and Louisiana.  I even had the opportunity to travel to Poltava, Ukraine for 3 weeks during the summer of 2002.  Along with traveling, I enjoy scrapbooking, crafting, reading, and cooking.

My modalities include, Swedish, Deep Tissue, Pregnancy, and Hot Stone Massage. I also offer Salt and Sugar Scrub for hands and feet along with Aromatherapy for optimal relaxation and a spa like experience.

I keep coming back to Blue Lotus because it is relaxing and therapeutic. I have shopped around using groupon and settled on Blue Lotus as the best for me.

I have been receiving massages from April for almost two years now and it has always been awesome. I swear by them while pregnant! I haven't had any excessive swelling or excessive pain and I attribute that entirely to regular massages. She has worked hard to accommodate my regularly changing physical needs and I appreciate all of her work. The office is very relaxing with soft music and soothing lighting. I highly recommend a visit with April.
