Specializing in working with the military community

am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing at my office on Allens Creek Road in Brighton, NY. I see anyone who wants to make massage a part of their lives, but I also focus on treating military veterans. Massage therapy has been proven to not only treat the chronic physical conditions our returning service men and women face, but the emotional ones as well (such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, TBI, just to name a few).  am a Licensed Massage Therapist practicing at my office on Allens Creek Road in Brighton, NY. I decided to focus my practice on military service members as  my father is a Vietnam Veteran and several friends and family members are Iraq War Veterans. The sacrifices that the men and women of our Armed Forces make for us is very dear to me, and it is because of those sacrifices that I offer a heavy discount to all members of the military (active, reserve, retired, etc.). I also offer discounts to military family members as well, as they sacrifice an enormous amount as well.

I am also a Reiki Master so that I may be able to offer energy work to my clients as well. Healing doesn’t always have to involve touch, which is why I am also passionate about energy work. It is amazing to me that it is possible to have just as much of an effect on someone without actually laying your hands on their physical body. Energy work is also a wonderful alternative to massage if massage isn’t an option at the time (such as for acute conditions). I heartily encourage you to try it if you haven’t experienced it yet!

Before finding my path to massage, I was working in a career in publishing for 10 years. Holding an Associates Degree from Monroe Community College and a Bachelors Degree from Nazareth College, I never thought I would return to the classroom. But, life holds many surprises for us! Here I am, 10 years later, and I feel that I have found my true passion in giving massage. It is a beautiful way to connect with people and I receive just as much joy in giving the massage as the client does in receiving it. It is my feeling that every client I meet adds something special to who I am as a person and as a massage therapist. When I am not working, I am usually home with my two children, and four fur babies (two Pit bulls and two cats).

My hope is that my clients leave my office feeling refreshed, relaxed, and with a greater sense of well being. Massage is a wonderful addition to anyone’s health care regimen. Call me today to add it to yours!
