Dr. Angela Slessor is the creator of Renewed Life Physical Therapy. She began her career in Orthopedics focusing on common conditions of the spine, lower extremities and upper extremities. She became the director of an outpatient clinic and began learning the inner-workings  of business management. After several years she had an opportunity to explore Geriatric Rehab in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Eventually, Dr. Slessor returned to outpatient to continue with her love of manual therapy with her patients. She truly believes in the healing power of touch. After a volunteer Physical Therapy trip to Haiti, Dr. Slessor cultivated relationships with a few colleagues that practiced Dry Needling. She was instantly intrigued with the pain and muscle tension reducing effect of Dry Needling, and the short time frame in which it was achieved. She has found it a great addition to her current treatment techniques. She has applied it all over the body, and used it for many different diagnoses.

Her treatment philosophy includes evidence-based manual therapy, custom exercise prescriptions and comprehensive patient education to aid her clients in achieving their personal goals.

Dr. Slessor spends her personal time enjoying being active. You will often find her biking, kayaking, swimming and enjoying anything out doors - when the weather allows it in Michigan. She also enjoys spending time with her husband, 3 children, and their pets.

Dr. Slessor earned her Bachelors of Health Science with a Minor in Exercise Science, as well as her Doctorate of Physical Therapy; both from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. She has also been published in the Pediatric Journal of Physical Therapy.

Angela put me at ease from the very beginning. Its easy to see that she knows how to evaluate the problem and educate her clients on solving the problem. I am so relieved and thrilled that Angela was able to get me in on her schedule. It was well worth the trip from Seattle to see her. She is a blessing.
