Casey grew up in the Appalachian basin of upstate New York. The power and majesty of nature has always been a love that continues to this day. Continually learning about the use and benefits of essential oils stems from this influence. The many personal influences of her life include her father, historian and restaurateur, her grandmother a local artist and Veterans including her grandfather and her husband who have influenced her start in massage therapy. Casey joined the military in 2003, in hopes to pay for an education. She was stationed in Germany and after a deployment to Iraq she meet her husband. After getting out of the military and over the course of twelve years, two children, two deployments(husband), a shoulder replacement on her husband of 26 and moving to beautiful Savannah Georgia she wanted a better understanding of anatomy and how to help him and other veterans. Being a childcare provider for 5 years, is when she first started her interest in the power of touch. Understanding the effects of PTSD on the body is a never ending pursuit of knowledge in her career of bodywork and what persuaded her to attend Virginia College, for Massage Therapy in 2014. In 2015 she finished her training. She has worked locally at many spas and assisting a chiropractor for the past 3 years. She has had the privilege to help people with problems such as; scoliosis, sciatica, frozen shoulder syndrome, tendinitis, carpal tunnel, planter fasciitis, various joint replacements, migraines, fibromyalgia, sports strains, insomnia, the effects of stress and many more. She expresses the love of bodywork like being a detective of the muscles. “You never really know what to expect. You may think after the assessment of a client you have a general idea of what's going on but after getting in there it may be something entirely different. It isn't always so obvious. We hold emotions and memories throughout body and in our muscles.. Our daily lives effect our bodies greatly and where we hold tension…there are so many factors to consider. My favorite clients are those with multiple issues, it is so fun and fascinating to get in there and figure out what is going on and help a person that has been in pain for years. I do believe preventative Massage is so important! Massage should not only be a luxury but an essential part of maintaining a healthy lifestyle!” Casey continues her education with Massage Therapy. Her CEU’s are: Myofacscial strategies 1 & 2 by Magnus Eklund in 2016. PTSD and Massage, an introduction. Nervous System Disorder, introduction. Chronic Pain and Massage, introduction. Common Sports Injuries, introduction. Essential Oils, introduction. Reiki, introduction. She will also be pursing Reiki 1 & 2 in April with Reiki Master Christa Rosenkranz-Taylor and many more to come.

Casey is a very experienced professional that takes her work and customers very seriously. She is very concerned about the smallest details of your massage and want your experience to be the best each time you visit. I always get the deep tissue massage and her pressure is very firm. I find that a good thing as I have had massages that are wimpy from others. She will check with you but if it's to firm let her know. I can't say enough good things about her and her work. I would always wait for her for a massage if she happens to be book up or off the date I am looking for.
