My personal philosophy regarding massage is to help affect positive change from the outside in, not simply by pushing down on muscles. The old adage, "No Pain, No Gain", is out dated. I believe in our bodies ability to heal & restore function without coercing muscles aggressively. I also believe movement is medicine, so it's important to restore function, reduce pain, & relieve stress.

I really appreciate Kiara's flexibility in choosing a routine that deals with the specific problem that I need addressed during that session. She carefully evaluates each problem and changes her approach based on the different problem and it's severity. I am so lucky to have found a therapist like Kiara that can figure out the best approach and adapt to the new situation. I have extensive experience with massage, and I know how rare and valuable her skills and adaptability are!

I had such a relaxing experience. It was really what I was hoping a massage would be. I think I can count on one or two hands the few times in my life that I have experienced such intense relaxation, so thank you. I will definitely be recommending you to my co-workers (social workers and therapist who can get pretty stressed due to the nature of our work) and I hope to try and see you in a month or so. Parts of my body that are normally are sore when I wake up in the morning feel fine today. Its amazing. Again, thank you so much.
