More about me:
My fascination with all things human really became apparent to me when I found Anthropology, the study of humankind, as an undergraduate student at VCU. I have always been passionate about humans, community, and personal wellness. I began my journey with massage therapy while living in China as a US Peace Corps Volunteer. It was there that I became a frequent receiver of massage, and started tuning into my body as a holistic system--the physical, emotional, and spiritual bodies being interdependent.
I graduated from the Northern Virginia School of Therapeutic Massage in 2016 and began working full-time as a massage therapist in January of 2017. I am so happy to be able to say “I love my job.” It is so rewarding to be in a profession that serves others. I enjoy guiding others to listen to their bodies and discover the many ways our bodies communicate with us. I am certified in Prenatal Therapeutic Massage, Medical Massage, and a Reiki Master.
