After experiencing my own lower back trauma at the age of 20, I decided to dedicate my life to helping people deal with the ramifications associated with physical pain and how it can impact your daily routine. I studied Neuromuscular Reprogramming (NMR) for 4 years and have worked in the therapeutic/holistic treatment field for 10 years. I have worked closely with my clients and their Physicians, Physical Therapists, Chiropractors, Personal Trainers and Acupuncturists to help give my clients much needed relief and/or tools to help control pain in their daily lives.

I am focused on helping create simple movement patterns that counter the repetitive, sedentary functions required of most people (lifting, sitting at a desk, typing/mouse, looking at different screens, driving etc...) in their everyday routine. I combine NMR with some massage, exercise, stretching techniques and even Restorative Yoga poses.

I can help you feel better not only today, but for a long time to come, based on my many years of experience, background, knowledge and ultimately guidance about how the body can and should move!! If you have tried lots of other approaches and nothing has worked, try me out and be simply amazed!

Shannon’s skill and gentle manner in combination with her knowledge of the way our bodies move made me feel comfortable and confident about treatment and recovery.

Shannon is extremely knowledgable, yet communicates complex concepts in an easy-to- understand manner, and with empathy. A very special practitioner!

As an acrobat, I need different work depending on what kind of training I have been doing. The bodywork Shannon provides is always specific to what I need on any given day and I especially appreciate being given "homework", and by that I mean a daily short little routine to fire the muscles that aren't naturally doing so. I am going to keep coming back!

Superb knowledge of the body.

Shannon took lots of time to talk to me about the issues I was having with my back, neck, and wrists, and helped me think about exercises and lifestyle things I could shift to improve the chronic situation as well as doing great work on the table.
