Licensed Massage Therapist: When you connect the mind and body you create a working balance!

It's all connected- perhaps you have found this to be true. After receiving a B.A. Psychology I pursued a license in massage therapy and have been practicing as a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2001. I am focused on creating a comfortable and safe space for relaxation and healing. Each and every one of my sessions is tailored to work with the unique needs of the clients. Along with my current private practice at the Yoga Source in St. Louis, I worked for seven years as the Clinic Supervisor and later the Clinic Director in St. Louis, Missouri. For the  past four years I have been fortunate to work with the student and faculty population of Washington University in St. Louis as the LMT. It has been a rewarding experience helping the students become aware of their bodies and the change that massage can make in their personal and academic lives.

I am certain that I am suppose to practice massage therapy and for that and everyone who books an appointment with me I am truly grateful and honored.

Deep Tissue

Many people ask for deep work and I am able to accommodate that request. Deep work is different for everyone and having good communication is the key to successful work. My experience has taught me to "listen" with my hands and apply deeper work that still allows the muscles to relax.

Clinic Supervisor

Instructor for the Healing Arts Center serving as a supervisor and later the Director of the student clinic for seven years. It was a privilege to witness and guide the first massage given by the students to the public.

Myofascial Release

I have been practicing MFR since 2001 and have taken continuing education relating to Headache and TMJ issues.

Reiki: Level 1 and 2

I was first introduced to Reiki in massage school and became curious about the implications of energy work. It wasn't something I was aware of so I continued to explore my own experience. It was undeniable for me and continues to be a part of my work.
